University administration is exercised by the following bodies: the General Council, the Rector and the Management Council. These bodies are responsible for directing the University in its scientific, educational, and cultural activities and interaction with society, as well as for ensuring proper planning and financial and administrative management of the institution.
The University comprises the following advisory bodies: Academic Senate, Cultural Council and Disciplinary Council. It is for these bodies to advise the Rector and General Council in the performance of their duties and to issue recommendations according to the present statutes.
