Description

The bachelor degree in Product Design trains designers to create attractive, enduring and economical products as plus-values for industry and society. Learning skills embrace theory and practice throughout the course. Knowledge about the potential and limitations of materials, as well as their producing technologies, prepares these graduates for the creation of innovative solutions through the integrated development of projects (conception-production-assemblage-distribution) in Design offices, industrial enterprises and I&D research units.

Access to higher education

This course provides the technical and scientific capacity to access the courses of the second cycle (Master)

Careers

The range of knowledge and skills acquired throughout the programme, together with the continuing practice of team project work, will prepare versatile professionals who will easily integrate the job market. Students, now professionals, will be able to exercise their professional activity as product designers and product marketing experts, at the service of industrial enterprises, design offices, government organizations, among others.

In addition, and similarly to what occurs in some European programmes, the skills acquired throughout the academic years will make possible that a significant part of graduated students in Product Design start their own business.
