Furthermore, the School of Sciences also offers a PhD in Sciences, in one of the following specialities: Biology, Geology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry. There is no scholar component, the full period is dedicated to research under the supervision of one or more specialists and culminates with a written dissertation. The goal of the PhD in Science is to form highly qualified human resources in the various areas of Science and in topics which are relevant for research activities, both theoretical and experimental, or for application in different areas of industry and services.
