Description


Industrial Engineering deals with the application of engineering methods and management science to project, organisation and management of manufacturing systems in companies of goods and services. The Industrial Engineer develops his/her activity directly with adjusting the use of the companies? resources (people, machinery, transport systems, informatics, financial resources, tools, space, etc.), aiming at improving their global performance.

The goal of the MSc in Industrial Engineering is to train professionals with advanced technical and scientific skills in industrial and systems engineering, focusing particularly on attractive and/or emergent domains, which are essential to design, model, analyse and manage today?s complex systems.
