Description


The course was created with the goal of providing up-to-date technical and scientific knowledge in Polymer Science and Engineering to professionals of plastics and moulding industries, or other industries related to the selection, use, processing and manipulation of polymeric materials. The degree also aims at responding to the training needs of Secondary Education professors (from Physics and Chemistry) in order for them to face the demands of new curricular programmes which include Polymers.

The course includes a scholar part (3 semesters) and a dissertation (which begins in the 3rd semester) on a specific theme (45 ECTS). In each semester, the student may complete up to 30 ECTS.

This Master degree provides basic training to carry out a course of 3rd cycle (PhD) in the same scientific area, or other areas

Entry requirements


1st cycle degree in Engineering, Engineering Sciences (except for Polymer), industry professionals (with training in Engineering or similar areas) and Secondary Education professors (Physics or Chemistry). Graduates from other areas may be considered, provided the CV is compatible.
