The Doctorate (PhD) in Basic Psychology from the University of Minho is a cycle of studies aimed at the formation, training and development of knowledge and skills within one of three fundamental research areas in specific domains (e.g., human memory, animal behaviour, human development, etc). It comprises a doctoral course with the duration of six semesters and the presentation and discussion of a dissertation resulting from an original research work.
