The Master course in Quality Management and Engineering provides a range of solid and comprehensive training in an area of great importance to various sectors of activity that is not commonly covered by traditional university training. This course puts emphasis on engineering techniques and management applied in planning, control and improvement of processes and in the design and improvement of products and services. The Department of Production and Systems, School of Engineering, University of Minho has expertise in Engineering and Quality Management, based on academic staff with PhD in this field, which has collaborated with various companies in the service sector and the industrial sector through projects of quality improvement.
