Description


The Bachelor in Industrial Electronics and Computers Engineering (LEEIC) aims to provide a solid background in Electronic Engineering, as well as in the areas of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics essential to the professional practice in this area of knowledge as well as to the continuation of studies for a 2nd cycle course in the area of engineering sciences. Thus, the conclusion of this cycle of studies allows the student to proceed to the Master in Industrial Electronics and Computers Engineering, enter the job market or progress in his professional career. The course confers professional skills after 3 years of teaching, enhancing the ability to
adapt to changes resulting from the great dynamism of the sector. The completion of the LEEIC allows admission to professional engineering orders.

Key learning outcomes


The main knowledge, skills and competences that a Bachelor in Industrial Electronics and Computers Engineering must acquire include the ability to:
1. conceive, design, implement, and guarantee the maintenance of electrical and electronic systems;
2. automate industrial processes;
3. streamline the application and use of new technologies in the functioning of business organizations.
In addition to the professionalization component, the course provides a solid background in engineering that enables students to proceed to more advanced study cycles, namely, for the Master in Industrial Electronic and Computers Engineering.

Access to higher education


This course gives the technical-scientific ability to access second cycle courses (Master degree).
