Please find enclosed information related to the Advanced Course in “Reliability and Risk Analysis”, to be held on January 30 – February 10, 2017, at University of Minho, Guimarães, Portugal. The course covers topics such as reliability and design codes, hazard identification, system analysis, risk analysis and case studies.

Guimarães is one of the most important historical cities of Portugal, being a UNESCO World Heritage city Humanity Cultural Heritage since 2001. The city is located about 350 km north of the capital, Lisbon, and 50 km from the second largest city, Porto, being served by Francisco Sá Carneiro International Airport (OPO).
