Open Weekend
The University of Minho opens its door to the public between April 19th (afternoon), April 20th and April 21st (morning) for an Open Weekend, where visitors can experience the institution in its usual dynamics. The Open Weekend programme is filled with activities, scientific demonstrations, cultural presentations, lectures and experiences involving every School and Institute, as well as UMinho’s services, in an interaction with prospective students.

As such, UMinho invites all middle school and high school students, as well as their families, teachers and vocational counsellors to take part in this initiative. The Open Weekend event offers an opportunity of close contact with the university, its lecturers and students in various venues.
