International workshop “Perce[v]er Pevidém”

The UMinho School of Architecture, Art and Design and SRH University organize the international workshop “Perce[v]er Pevidém” from the 5th to the 9th of September. The workshop seeks to explore the simultaneity of the acts of “Seeing” and “Perceiving” through immersive experience in concrete territories.
In this edition, it is proposed to Perce(v)er the territory of Pevidém, a village in the municipality of Guimarães, Portugal. Perce(v)er is a workshop for the recognition, representation and reimagining of the complexity of contemporary places, in which ‘walking’ and ‘stopping’ in situ are fundamental actions. The workshop is organized in international working groups, with architecture students from SRH University and from the School of Architecture, Art and Design at the University of Minho, and is tutored by professors from both universities. The workshop counts with the participation of 22 students of the International Master in Architecture of SRH, coming from 12 different countries.
