Higher education institutions have been implementing mechanisms to integrate students into Quality Management System processes, following the guidelines of the Higher Education Assessment and Accreditation Agency (A3ES).

In this context, this year's edition is dedicated to the discussion around the participation of students in these processes and their impact on the continuous improvement of institutional quality.

This approach strengthens a culture of collective responsibility and contributes to an academic environment that is more responsive to the expectations and needs of students, who are one of the main beneficiaries of the system (pointing out difficulties, proposing solutions and bringing direct feedback from the student community).

10:15    “Student participation in the processes of the UMinho Quality Management System” - intervention by the Representatives of the UMinho Students Course Groups and debate of the proposals presented.
