The course has 14 hours of classes per week and various cultural activities, such as field trips or gatherings. The Course presents three different levels and aims for the students to acquire not only language skills, but also cultural ones.

The Inaugural Session will take place on the 3rd of October of 2016, at 10am, in the Auditorium of the Institute of Arts and Human Sciences, in Braga. During the session, a diagnostic test will take place in order to ensure correct language level placement.

The registrations are also open for the Biannual Course of Portuguese as a Foreign Language, with classes in Braga (Gualtar) and Guimarães (Azurém). The Course has 6 hours of classes per week and presents three different levels. The diagnostic test will take place on the 20th September of 2016 and the enrollment period runs from the 23rd to the 28th September of 2016.

At the end of the Courses, all participants will be evaluated in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and will receive a certificate in accordance with the level achieved.
