The 4th International Meeting on Industrial Heritage and its museology takes place from November 18th to November 19th, at the Commercial and Industrial Association of Guimarães (ACIG) and at the Martins Sarmento Society (SMS).

The event is organised in partnership with the UMinho’s Research Centre for the Social Sciences – University of Minho CICS.NOVA.UMinho, the Portuguese Association for the Industrial Heritage and the International Committee for the Conservation of the Industrial Heritage.

This initiative aims to contribute to the establishment of industrial heritage and its museology by promoting experience sharing between researchers of the field. Its goal is to assess the current framework of knowledge and new achievements of the field in Portugal and abroad.
