The UMinho’s Students’ Union (AAUM) organises the Freshers’ Welcome Concerts, which takes place between October 3rd and October 7th in Guimarães. Transport will be provided between the Gualtar and Azurém campi and the Multipurpose Arena of Guimarães. Buses will depart from both campi from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., whilst departing from the concert venue from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m. Tickets can be bought from the Student Helpdesks at the Gualtar and Azurém campi, at the Multipurpose Arena of Guimarães and online. This initiative is part of the UMinho’s Welcome Programme for New Students 2017/18.

October 3rd
10 p.m. | Serenatas Velhas at the Guimarães historical centre and in the Guimarães’s Academic Bar (BA)

October 4th
2 p.m. | “Latada” in the streets of the Guimarães’s old town centre
11 p.m. | Concerts by Kalhambeque, Toy, Gin Party Soundsystem and DJ Manel Fonseca at the Multipurpose Arena of Guimarães

October 5th
11 p.m. | Concerts by the UMinho’s cultural groups (Afonsina, Augustuna, Gatuna, Literatuna, Opum Dei, Tuna de Medicina da UMinho, Tuna Universitária do Minho, Tun'Obebes, Tun'ao Minho), Quim das Remisturas and DJ Manel Fonseca at the Multipurpose Arena of Guimarães

October 6th
11 p.m. | Concerts by Slow J, Dillaz, DJ Gonçalo Pinheiro, The Fucking Bastards and DJ Manel Fonseca at the Multipurpose Arena of Guimarães

October 7th
11 p.m. | Concerts by Carolina Deslandes, Virgul, John Mayze & Miguel Faria, Steven Rod and DJ Manel Fonseca at the Multipurpose Arena of Guimarães
