Garagem Avenida - Guimarães
As part of the Curricular Unit “Atelier III”, of the B.A. in Visual Arts, it will be held on January 5 at 10 a.m at Garagem Avenida, a class with Arthur Pugliese entited “Estaleiro de obra da Alfaatlantica”.
Arthur Pugliese: Architect, Master in Fine Arts and specialist in Social Impact Projects. In Brazil, he idealized the Social Organization Mestres da Obra, which since 2003 implants Art, Design and Humanities Ateliers inside construction sites, focusing on the personal and collective development of civil construction workers. In 2022 the project will be implemented in a construction site in Portugal, in the municipality of Guimarães. In this space there is already an art gallery with a collection co-created by the worker-artists.
