Description


The Master's Degree in Communication, Arts and Culture provides to students a multidisciplinary training that integrates theoretical and methodological approaches to art, communication and culture. These areas, closely linked, not only call to action consolidated technical and scientific specialties, but also involve booming economic and social activities.

The Master presents a consistent syllabus in the fields of culture, media and society, emphasizing the relationship between the media, politics and society, the uses and the economic potential, imagery and artistic production, the conceptualization of digital art, the relationship between the internet, arts and culture, the creation of individual and social identities and the possible intercultural connections.

This Master degree provides basic training to carry out a course of 3rd cycle (PhD) in the same scientific area, or other areas

Entry requirements


Those who fit the following conditions can apply for this course:
1) holders of a graduation in one of the following areas: Communication Sciences, Sociology, Cultural Studies,
Artistic Studies or similar areas;
2) holders of a foreign academic graduation, conferred in the wake of a first graduation in the areas enounced
in the previous point, organized according the principles of Bologne by a supporting State;
3) holders of a foreign academic graduation, recognized as satisfying the objectives of the graduation in the
areas indicated above or similar ones considered by the Scientific Board of the Social Sciences Institute;
4) candidates who, being not graduate, present an academic, scientific or professional curriculum recognized
by the Scientific Board of the Social Sciences Institute as certifying the ability to the attendance of this study
cyle.
