Description

The main objective of the course is to train highly qualified graduates qualified to work in Industrial Electronics and Computer Engineering, this is, individuals with competence to specify, design and implement electronic systems and devices. Graduates should be able to be easily integrated into companies and organizations and assume leadership positions, responding to the current evolution of societies, aware of the social and ethical responsibility of professional practice. The graduates choose two from the four specialization profiles with the objective of training highly qualified professionals in Control, Automation and Robotics (CAR), Power Electronics and Energy (EPE), Instrumentation and Electronic Microsystems (IME) and Embedded Systems and Computers (SEC). Each profile consists of 5 curricular units.

Key learning outcomes

The Course has as fundamental objective to guarantee a solid and broad spectrum scientific formation and, at the same time, to qualify its graduates for the exercise of professional activity in Industrial Electronics and Computers Engineering, that is, individuals with competence to understand, specify, design and implement electronic systems and/or devices in different areas of specialization in the different areas of specialization/profiles that the course offers. At the same time, they must be able to be easily integrated into the type of companies and organizations required by the current evolution of societies, aware of the social and ethical responsibility of professional practice.

Access to higher education

This course gives technical and scientific skills for access to Doctoral Programs (3rd cycle) in the area, or in related areas.
