Description

The Master in Informatics Engineering complements a graduation in Informatics (Bologna first cycle) with a certifiable Engineering degree. The goal is to prepare Informatics Engineers with a solid background in the area, able to contribute in an informed, critic, and creative way in the phases of analysis, project, conception and development of information systems.

The course is composed of a combination of two Specialisation Curricular Units providing an in-depth study in a specialisation domain in informatics. Moreover, it provides specific formation and competences in planning, management and research, and development projects in Software Engineering. Finally, a dissertation on a research or development Engineering project, with a clear focus on the involvement of an industrial partner.

The Master in Informatics aims at providing a comprehensive Engineering formation combining a solid scientific knowledge, a methodological formation, a broad knowledge on emerging technologies, and deontological and civic consciousness.
