Description
"Textile Chemistry" covers areas of the textile sector that account for the highest added value: dyeing, printing and finishing. It also includes the related sector of chemical fiber production, as well as all aspects related to protection of the environment, essential for the European textile industry.
The Bologna Process has opened new perspectives to this training area, allowing access to the Master in Textile Chemistry of students with short higher education (1st cycle of studies) complementing thus the training of graduates in courses in Sciences and Engineering.
The curriculum of the program's course is designed according to the teaching-learning approach, characterized by stimulate learning by placing students with real problems (problem-based learning) and is part of a strategy to offer multidisciplinary postgraduate training.
