Em mais uma
edição do ciclo de diálogos com as unidades orgânicas, os corpos e os membros
da nossa Academia, o Reitor convida os Investigadores da Universidade do Minho
a participarem numa sessão de informação e debate com o tema “FCT Tenure – A
posição da Universidade do Minho. A sessão vai realizar-se esta quinta-feira,
dia 25 de janeiro, pelas 15h00, no auditório A1 (edifício 1) do campus de
Gualtar, em Braga.
Num quadro de
indefinição acerca de aspetos fundamentais do sistema científico,
designadamente os caminhos a prosseguir para a consolidação das carreiras de
investigação, importa debater a política de emprego científico em Portugal e o
necessário investimento nas pessoas que decidiram dedicar-se a fazer Ciência no
nosso país. A Universidade do Minho tem participado ativamente neste debate.

In another edition of the cycle
of discussions with the organic units, bodies, and members of our Academy, the
Rector invites the researchers from the University of Minho to participate in
an information and debate session on the theme “FCT Tenure – The standing of
the University of Minho." The session will occur this Thursday, January
25th, at 3:00 pm, in auditorium A1 (building 1) of the Gualtar campus in Braga.
Within a framework of
uncertainty regarding the fundamental aspects of the scientific system, namely
the paths to be pursued for the consolidation of research careers, it is
pivotal to discuss the policy of scientific employment in Portugal and the
required investment in the people who decided to dedicate themselves to Science
in our country.
The University of Minho has
actively participated in this debate, and we challenge all researchers to
attend the session.
