Mission
[article 59 of the Organic Regulation of the Services Units of the University of Minho, published in the Official Gazette, Diário da República, 2nd series, no. 100/2020, of 7 May]
“The Secretariat of the Board of Ethics is responsible for providing administrative advice to the Board of Ethics, particularly:
a. Ensuring the various assistance and guidance services to those who wish to interact with the Board of Ethics, i.e., face-to-face meetings, telephone assistance and through computer resources;
b. Receiving information and documentation addressed to and associated with the Board of Ethics, and organizing the corresponding archive;
c. Carrying out the necessary administrative procedures for the preparation of the documentation of the Board of Ethics to be submitted for approval and its execution;
d. Preparing and distributing to all members of the Board of Ethics, with due notice, the documentation relating to meetings;
e. Forward the codes, guidelines, recommendations, opinions, reflections and debating activities of the Board of Ethics and the relevant information produced as part of its mission to the competent organs, organic units and services, and undertaking their dissemination;
f. Organising and keeping up-to-date the register of the deliberations of the Board of Ethics and the relevant information produced;
g. Drawing up the minutes of the Board of Ethics meetings and sending them to all members."
