Mission

“The Secretariat of the General Council is responsible for providing administrative advice to the General Council, particularly:
a. Receiving information and documentation addressed to and associated with the General Council, and organizing the corresponding archive;
b. Carrying out the administrative procedures necessary for the preparation of the General Council dossier to be submitted for approval and its execution;
c. Preparing the plenary meetings of the General Council, particularly the scheduling, logistical preparation and timely compilation and dispatch of documents relating to the matters on the agenda;
d. Forwarding the deliberations of the General Council and the relevant information produced as part of its mission to the competent bodies, organic units and services and proceeding with their dissemination through the means and ways envisaged in the applicable regulations;
e. Organising and keeping updated the register of the General Council’s deliberations and the relevant information produced within the scope of its mission;
f. Drawing up the minutes of the General Council meetings and sending them to all members;
g. Providing secretarial services for the meetings of the different Specialised Committees that form part of the General Council, in association with their respective coordinators, and ensuring the availability of the documentation necessary for the analysis of matters, as well as preparing the memoranda to be presented to the Plenary;
h. Ensuring the organisation of the election process of the members of the General Council and the Rector, in association with the designated Electoral Commissions.”
