As part of its partnership with the International Mentoring Foundation for the Advancement of Higher Education (IMFAHE), the University of Minho is accepting applications until 31st October for the 7th edition of the following programmes:
- International Mentoring Programme for Doctoral Students
- Professional Development Programme for Professors and Researchers
These online programmes, running from November 2025 to June 2026, are open to all PhD Students and Professors/Researchers.
International Mentoring Programme for PhD Students: 20 vacancies available
Participants in this programme will have the opportunity to receive personalized advice from professionals affiliated with world-renowned institutions such as Harvard University, MIT, Princeton University and Google.
At least, one vacancy will be ensured for students from each of the 12 Schools/Institutes.
In this context, two PhD students enrolled in the programme will be awarded Excellence Fellowships to continue their research at one of IMFAHE's partner institutions abroad, with accommodation and expenses paid for a period of three months. In addition, participating students will be eligible to apply for the Portugal Global Fellowship and the IMFAHE Global Fellowship.
Professional Development Programme for Professors and Researchers: 20 vacancies available
This programme offers webinars on open science, project funding, online teaching, peer mentoring, entrepreneurship competitions, and international networking activities to foster collaboration and innovation.
