“Design Methodology 2[3]” Exhibition at the Nogueira da Silva Museum

The “Design Methodology 2[3]” exhibition is coordinated by Bernardo Providência. From May 17 to July 15, in the museum’s Jorge Barradas Room. The Nogueira da Silva Museum is a cultural unit of the University of Minho.

Open Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

Free admission.

This exhibition is the result of a dialogue between UMinho and the 2D and 3D morphologies adaptation industry. From the act of drawing came the act of perceiving and building shapes that, based in basic project exercises, reinterpret shape/repetition in the construction of a contemporary identity. From the study of a series of proposals made by design ateliers based on simple manufacturing techniques, grammars of shape and constructive solutions were deconstructed in the search for a constructive solution.
