This is a Services Unit with administrative and financial autonomy, consisting of the Administrator, the Management Board and the Social Welfare Board as its bodies. They provide students with services in the areas of Accommodation, Food, Scholarships, Medical and Psychological Support and Support for Sports and Cultural Activities, among others.
SASUM is based at the Gualtar Campus, Braga. However, there are branches in Guimarães, which are capable of supporting around 5000 students who attend classes at the Azurém University Campus.
