The University of Minho (UMinho) privileges the participation of relevant actors, internal and external, in the processes of strategic planning and quality assurance.
Quality Events
The Quality Manual provides a set of measures aimed at improving both SIGAQ-UM and UMinho. To this end, various events are organised within the scope of the SIGAQ-UM, in particular the Annual Quality Event (EAQ), which lasts one day and aims to discuss, in depth, both the ongoing improvement of the SIGAQ-UM and the fulfilment of the annual plan for the implementation of improvement points.
The Sectoral Committee for Education and Training (CS/11)
UMinho, through the Service Unit of Quality Management and Accreditation, has a seat on the
Sectorial Committee for Education and Training of the Portuguese Quality Institute (IPQ).
It is intended, in the context of interaction with representatives of various entities, to share methodologies and best national and international practices in Quality in Education and Training, as well as to identify Quality indicators leading to the improvement of the performance of Education and Training institutions.
