A3ES contemplates the establishment of audit mechanisms for internal quality assurance systems in higher education institutions as one of the essential instruments of the national quality assurance system. Consequently, the certification of these systems is one of the preconditions for simplifying procedures in the processes of external assessment and accreditation of study cycles.

This year's edition of the Annual Quality Event is dedicated to discussing the design and implementation of internal quality assurance systems in higher education institutions in the fields of Education, Research and Services.
