The A3ES benchmark for internal quality assurance systems in higher education institutions has been promoting greater clarification in the Services aspect, both in relation to the planning and improvement of the services provided, and in the efficiency in the management of the resources involved.

This year's edition of the Annual Quality Event is dedicated to discussing the implementation of SIGAQ-UM, as quality management systems of a IES within the scope of ISO references, as a way of improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency in the context of the Units of Service.
