We are extremely proud of our Founding Director and President of I3Bs of University of Minho, Professor Rui L. Reis, who has just this morning received the 2022 Klaas De Groot Award from European Society for Biomaterials (ESB) during its Annual Conference taking place in Bordeaux for his outstanding ability to provide excellent leadership, mentorship and guidance to young researchers and his contribution to create the next generation of biomaterials scientists in Europe.
