Created in 1976, first as a Scientific-Pedagogical unit of Arts and Humanities, the current School of Arts and Humanities (ELACH) carries out its mission in the field of Humanities and Arts. Through its teaching and research projects and the activities of social binding, ELACH aims to promote, not only culture, human development, critical thought and arts, but also the valorisation of the Portuguese language and others as a way of deepening linguistic hospitality between people.
