GOOD PRACTICE IN DOCTORAL SUPERVISION
Doctoral College UMinho (CDUM) has been promoting, since 2021, an annual programme dedicated to the supervision of doctoral students with the aim of supporting and inspiring supervisors in the development of teaching, leadership skills and promoting the development of their students. This programme intends to create opportunities and spaces for sharing day to day practices and also constraints experienced by supervisors in the area of thesis supervision.
This is a one-day event, to take place on July 19 consisting of two modules, where various aspects related to supervision will be approached and discussed and case studies will be presented for group analysis.
The workshop is intended for faculty members supervising PhD students or that aim to initiate supervision roles in the near future, and is limited to 40 participants.
The sessions will be held in Portuguese.
